Description: I was watching the blood moon and saw something in the corner of my eye,. I ignored it at first, but as it remained in my vision and was plainly moving, I looked to see what it was. I saw 5 lights in a V formation. Their altitude seemed a bit higher than the low clouds coming in from the ocean, and not terribly dim, but not nearly as bright as stars or as planes, moving south. They were not blinking and there was no red or green light. I could not tell if they were separate objects or if the lights were part of a single object. The lights simply winked out after I observed them for maybe 5 or 10 seconds.
I assumed this was perhaps debris or shooting stars at first and so expected the debris to spread out and break formation as it went. But it didn’t. There was no tail or trail as I have seen on objects in the sky before. The lights were steady — no blinking or wavering — not very bright, white-ish in color. They were moving perhaps the speed of a helicopter. There was no sound. There were no clouds to obscure the object, and it did not change direction or make any strange movements, other than how slowly it was moving compared to how quickly a plane or shooting star would move.
The angle of the V shape was obtuse.
